What is a Martial Art?
A Martial Art is a scientific training method to help awaken the individual practitioner to have a correct relationship with their personal power.
This strengthens their sense of self, their energy system and leads them to be able to live more from the heart.
This liberates the practitioner from the negative effects of anxiety, frustration, anger and fear allowing them to feel the joy and enthusiasm of fulfilling their human potential.
Such an individual becomes a blessing to society

The Training Method White Crane Kenpo
What is It ?
Our training is one that is rooted in the connecting of one's personal power to the inner heart of one's being.
This is achieved technically not just philosophically
How do we do it?
We specifically focus on what is called "The White Crane Method". This is what connects personal power to heart power. Through the method we connect the centre of gravity to the inner heart awakening the internal power of the practitioner. This brings the freedom of unfolding of enhanced martial ability and healing to the body, mind system all at the same time

Why do we do it?
By training The White Crane Method, each student will be invited to open to the power of their personal feeling nature. The effect of this will be to connect with their capacity for correct movement and therefore martial expression. In a manner that is facilitated by ones own internal body wisdom, therefore reducing stress on the tendons, ligaments and joints of the body promoting longevity and personal healing, on the Physical, Mental and Emotional aspects of our being.

OUR CLASSES
Little Tigers & Dragons (5 to 9 yrs)
Juniors (10 to 15 yrs)

Our Little Tiger & Dragon Program
is an age specific curriculum that is
designed to teach your child the basic
building blocks of our art in a fun,
exciting and enriching manner.
We concentrate on building the
child's motors skills through
a range of drills and exercises
to develop, focus, balance,
co-ordination, teamwork and
discipline to mention but a few.

Our Junior Program is designed to be more challenging for our students, although still continuing to develop the Childs motor skills and co-ordination, we now also begin to focus more on the physical aspects of the Art which will include more emphasis on self-defense techniques and free style sparring. The drills and exercises increase in length and complexity to further challenge the student’s co-ordination.

Our Intermediate program is designed to continue to build the students co-ordination and motor skills. Elements of the Art focused on at this level include timing, speed, power, accuracy and spontaneity to mention but a few. At this level more emphasis is also placed on refinement of body mechanics to allow the students to achieve their maximum action potential. Self discipline, good behavior and teamwork are also emphasized at this level.

Our Adult Program is designed with self defense at its core. Our overall GOAL is to produce well rounded students which will be aware of their surroundings and have the intuition to avoid potentially dangerous situations, while also possessing the ability to defend themselves successfully in a confrontation if necessary.
